2020 Year In Review
2020 was a crazy year for all of us. Like so many, my world turned upside down, and I was limited to the four walls of my home. Having been a huge international traveler this was a completely new world for me. I became much more introspective and as usual, found solace in my practice. My newer projects Outliers, The Scarlet Widow, and Femme Fatale reflect this.
I also photographed farmers in the San Juan Bautista area and helped them develop new distribution channels to get their crops directly to communities in the Bay Area. We used many of my photographs to market this work.

I was especially thrilled to be named a Merit Award Winner for the #12 B&W All About Photo (AAP) Magazine in June 2020. And, I was chosen as one of their Rising Photographers.
Iām really looking forward to what 2021 has in store and our world opening up. I say this with caution though, and the reminder to take our learns forward. For me, it was the gift of slowing down and focusing on the people (and the work) that are most meaningful to me. Less is more.
